We have been close friends for many years. We are both a little crazy and probably both struggling with some sort of midlife crises. The idea for an epic African adventure has lived within Mark for decades. One night over a few glasses of wine we decided we were going to actually do this together. It has taken a bit of preparation over the last year. We both needed to take time off work and we are thankful for our employers and our families for their support.
